Route Competence – Competency of different route operations

The Route Competence CBT course is designed to equip pilots with the necessary knowledge and skills for safe and efficient operations across various global regions. Flight Crews will learn about regional airspace structures, weather conditions, communication protocols, and navigation requirements to ensure route competence and operational safety across diverse geographical areas.

Airventure´s Route Competence is divided into 9 different areas which are, as per ICAO:

• AFI Region (Africa)
• Asia Region
• CAR Region (Caribbean)
• EUR Region (Europe)
• MID Region (Middle East)
• NAM Region (North America)
• NAT/HLA Region (North Atlantic/High-Level Airspace)
• PAC Region (Pacific)
• SAM Region (South America)
