Why Incapacitation Training Matters?

In aviation, the health and safety of both crew and passengers are of utmost importance. In the event of incapacitation, whether due to medical conditions like a heart attack, stroke, or injury, it is crucial that crew members can act quickly and competently. This training ensures that aviation personnel are ready to handle these high-pressure situations, minimizing risks and ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on board.

Our Incapacitation Training program equips aviation professionals with the skills needed to respond appropriately and maintain control of the situation while preserving the integrity of the flight.

Our Training Approach

Our Incapacitation Training is delivered by experts in aviation safety and emergency medical response. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training, offering participants the opportunity to practice vital skills in simulated emergency scenarios. Through these exercises, participants gain the confidence needed to handle incapacitation cases with professionalism and calm.

Key components of our Incapacitation Training:

  1. Recognizing Incapacitation
The first step in managing incapacitation is identifying it. This module teaches participants how to recognize the signs of incapacitation, whether from a medical event (such as a stroke or heart attack), trauma, or other causes. Participants will learn to assess the situation quickly and accurately to determine the appropriate response.
  2. Coordinating with Ground and Medical Support
In cases of incapacitation, quick communication with ground control and medical professionals is essential. This section covers how to manage the situation while communicating effectively with medical teams and ground personnel, including ATC communication, medical support, and other resources.
  3. Cabin Crew Management During Incapacitation
For cabin crew, managing an incapacitated passenger or crew member is a critical responsibility. This part of the training focuses on teamwork, delegation of tasks, and maintaining cabin safety while attending to the incapacitated individual. Participants will practice how to delegate responsibilities to other crew members, use medical equipment, and keep passengers calm during the incident.
